From insertion to orgasm, the average time is roughly five minutes. That, however, should not be the period of time you should look at.
If you're trying to figure out if you're a good lover or not, examine (and learn from) the entire experience ... not just those few minutes of actual intercourse.
If the question has come up because your partner has complained, it could be because you're not spending enough time on the foreplay ... the activities that precede intercourse.
Take your time! Don't be afraid to ask your partner what she likes and how she likes it. Let her teach you how to please her.
Good sex is not measured by how long it takes the guy to get off ... it is measured by the quality of pleasure BOTH parties get from the encounter.

Depends on age, medical condition, how long it has been since last sexual encounter, and his ability to control things.
Sometimes as little as 3 or 4 min. sometimes maybe 20 or 30 min. Just for the intercourse.

Expand on that. Do you mean, how long do you date someone before you have sex? Or do you mean, when you have sex with a man...how long does it usually last?

Hit & Run (Quicky) - 5-7 min
Rainy day stage (not so quicky) - 20 min+
