i describe my partner/mate as my best friend, lover, joy to be with, most respected friend. we learned from various relationship teachers (Barbara DeAngelis, Dr. Phil) to treat each other with love, respect and caring dignity which may sound boring to those that still think it's cute and okay to 'diss' their partners whenever the mood hits them (we used to do that too!). when you come to love and like yourself, you no longer 'diss' your partner or anyone else for that matter and then you can describe your partner in loving, appreciative and honorable ways and they to you as well. it's a whole different life when friendship and honor exists in place of cute jabbs and subtle or not so subtle put-downs that most couples take for granted and assume are 'no big deal'....even tho' the 'dissing' is slowly killing their relationship.

A guy who has the patience of a saint as his wife comes up with the wackiest ideas, but he tends to let it go as he knows she means well and loves him to pieces. He is also a great partner, his children - now grown - love him very much and respect what he has to say, and he can fix any vehicle. In the negative department, he does not have any hobbies except his own vehicles - and that is an endless one as he always can find something that needs attention, and he can drive a person batty if they want him to decide what to have for dinner - he WILL hold out the longest and someone else - anyone else - will have to decide. He is average height, a bit on the thin side to his wife's bit on the heavy side so they sort of even out, and this woman is glad he has stuck around for 33+ years of marriage so far.

My boyfriend or 'teddy' as I call him is tall dark and handsome. He has a furry wurry chest. He says "ROAR" and acts like a bear.He is cuddly and likes to get cosy wosy, cup of tea,and I love him to bits.He is my old man even though he is 35.He wears glasses, but it makes him look very intellectual.I wouldnt change a thing about him.Oh,nearly forgot.Every night he cycles in his sleep, restless legs,I think he is doing the tour de france.Plus he talks about bus routes in his sleep.(he is a bus driver)
