yes i do. it begs the question...so where is the edge of the universe...and what does it look like? is it moving further outward or just hanging out like a big wall? very deep.

If it is infinite then it always was and hence creation is irrelevant, no God and I am sorry Tebow Jesus becomes irrelevant because he had no father. I don't want to make you depressed but you can always play gin rummy to pass your time. But, if it is finite then Tebow may have a job because if it expanding then there may have been original causation or some singular event created by some force out there from glorious physics to a source or creator. The problem with this is the fact however small there had to have been something before for expansion to have occured. Nothing can be made from nothing. If a source or God for those that live in Iowa created the universe then he (she) was never created because you can't make nothing out of nothing. In other words no matter how you slice it in whatever form the universe is infinite.

The universe is not infinite in size. It has boundaries. When the big bang occurred 14 billion years ago the universe was very small. Since that time the universe has been expanding at nearly the speed of light. And the universe will continue to expand at near the speed of light. Inside the boundaries of our Universe are all of the matter and energy. The boundaries of our Universe is expanding into a space that has no end, what we call infinity.

Actually astronomers believe the universe is finite in size, basically stating that if it was infinite there would not have been a beginning. Scientific observations conclude that it is finite because there was a beginning, however it is constantly expanding. Check the balloon experiement. The universe is like blowing up a balloon, the more air you put into it the larger it gets. This is the same for the universe.

Depends on your perception of size. It's kind of like the scene at the end of Men in Black, where you have a galaxy in a marble. Also depends on what you call the universe, is it just the unit level above galaxy, or is it a /universe/ of the material/physical existance? In either case, we really can't find the outer edge, and to what degree can you move an atom? a zillionth part of an inch? How many parts of that measurement are there? it goes on in both directions, ad infinitum as best as we can tell. So yes, infinite in size, in both directions.

No its not. Its only infinite in the sense that your mind cannot fathom what lies beyond the edge. Perhaps another universe, and another and another like countless grains of sand on a seashore and all this contained within another universe, and then this universe is somehow the very same universe you live in and the very same universe you stepped on when you took a stroll on a sea shore.

I define the universe as part of the same space/time dimension
that I exist in. a self contained Bubble of my reality.
As such it can be measured by somebeing in the next dimesion which makes it possible my universe is a finite thing .
But is there something or someone beyond my dimesion that can or would measure it? If nothing measures my universe does that make it infinite?
its the tree falling in the forest with no one to hear the sound type of argument.

Yes. If our universe is NOT infinite, then there would have to be something larger. Since we know of nothing like that, our universe is infinite.

i always run for a question i felt all my life and i am feeling it right now and every where like a splinter in my mind.Firstly what are we and why r we here in this world and what exactly "we" r in this world and what is this world .I cant even express my feelings thru words but its the feeling i think those people made the matrix movie for!had the same feeling in their hearts and what science said is not true
i think so there is no medium and is is expanding how?if there is some matter existing without connectivity they would not have expanded!thr r many reasons we cant explain r still exixting in this universe!hope before i die i would know the secret!

i think not, beacuse "the nothing" it does not exist, so you can't find "the nothing" over" the nothing" and what it's mean that for me exacly? well! try to imagine a 360 grades on everywhere, of "the nothing" even when you imagine a big black or white space whatever you mind see, always it's going to be something there. { if i see just some place, white color there is some color there so that mean that you still have something there a color...!]
do you understand my point or what i trying to tell you.
i hope you can enjoy other kinds of view i dont know anything i just think about it a lot times ago on my life

Depends on what you mean by "universe."
I believe there is more than one universe, or what would be a megaverse.
And it is infinite and eternal.
There is no other realistic option.
