I thought the book was very interesting and I enjoyed it. However, I am troubled by some discrepancies and variations from the Word. For instance, did not Moses have two wives? The first being Zipporra, a Midianite. His 2nd wife was the Ethiopian. Was either wife murdered? Did he (Moses) lose his children? I don't remember any of those things from the Word. It seems the author has combined two of the wives and added a little for dramatic effect.

He was married to the Ethiopian first. It did this before leaving Egypt. You can find it by reading Josephus in the antiguities.

I read it and it was a good book, if you didn't take it that it was totally true. I'm not sure how many wives Moses had, as a Hebrew he could only have 1. I've seen 'The Ten Commandments' too many times so I get everything confused. I did enjoy the book.
