My GF doesn't like to wear ankle strap heel sandals because she feels that's a little "slutty", she only would wear mules and slides. I bought a ankle strap heels and she wore them a couple of times and she got multiple compliments about her great looking shoes... however she's not wearing them very often. Should I insist her to wear them? should I buy her another pair of ankle straps heels?

Ha HAHA! That's so silly. Ankle straps are just another style of shoes. Some people perfer ankle straps because it keeps the shoe secured to your feet so its easier to walk with them. I don't know where she came up with that idea. But anyways, if she don't like ankle straps, than dont buy her anymore.

I'd don't think that wearing ankle strap sandels are slutty but if ur GF does u have to respect her in that opinion and i wouldn't buy her another pair of ankle strap sandals that i think u would start to insult her maybe a pair of sandals that she does like is better

I think you may want to ease up on her about the shoes. She might end up thinking that you are not happy with who she is, and that you are trying to change her. Just be careful bro. and DO NOT buy her another pair. That could just upset her. Buy her a pair of the ones she so often wears. That will show her you pay attention, respect her style, and that you are NOT trying to change her! That should "SCORE" you, some major points!

Leave her alone if she doesn't want to wear them, even if you love them.
Men like them, but other women tend to look at other women who wear them as being a little "slutty" or "trashy" perhaps even if they're not.
Your girlfriend knows of this perception, so she is reluctant to wear them, but has to try to please you, since you bought them for her.
I say you should just let it go and not insist she wear them and don't buy more; let her wear what she feels comfortable in.

only slides and mules are boring. i can see her point if she doesn't like the ankle straps that you tie up your ankle, but the regular ines are cute.

Hunnie, unless shes wearing stripper shoes(You know the ones that are like 10inches tall) its not slutty. The ONLY shoes i wear are stilletos and strappy heels, I'm DEF not a slut :) But whatever, I guess its her opinion, if you like her for her you shouldnt try to change her, unless your willing to CHANGE for her....how'd you like it if she told you you couldnt dress?

I wouldn't push too much. Just remind her occasionally that you like them.
Overall, slutiness depends on the rest of the outfit.

Getting her what she likes will make her appreciate your gift so much more. Forcing her to wear something she doesn't like will make her not appreciate you.
