1. Herman's Hermits
2. Gerry and the Pacemakers
3. Chad and Jeremy
4. The Beatles
5. Freddie and the Dreamers (song: "Do the Freddie")

Additional notes:

Herman's Hermits were called The Heartbeats, then Herman & The Hermits, before arriving at the name with which they rose to international fame.

Gerry and the Pacemakers were managed by the same Brian Epstein who managed the Beatles. "I Like It" was written by Mitch Murray, who also wrote (or co-wrote) "98.6" "Billy, Don't Be a Hero" "Hitchin' a Ride" "How Do You Do It?" "I'm Telling You Now" "The Night Chicago Died" and many many more great songs.

Chad & Jeremy originally formed a group called The Jerks. The charting of "Willow Weep for Me" in the U.S. incited the duo to move to California, which led to many TV appearances, including guest spots on The Dick Van Dyke show, The Patty Duke show, and Batman.

Pete Best was sacked (officially by Beatles manager Brian Epstein) on August 16, 1962, just a few weeks before the Beatles would record their first single. He did record with the Beatles in their backup role for Tony Sheridan, as well as their 1962 auditions for Decca and EMI.
