No. The residual pregnancy hormone(HCG) takes about 2 weeks to decline . The body will not release another egg until all the HCG is gone.
Your Friend really needs to get serious about responsible Birth Control or she will find herself in the same situation again. I suggest that she speak with a Planned Parenthood Counsellor ASAP.

Sperm can live in a woman's body for up to six days — possibly seven. That's why most pregnancies result from fertilization by sperm that have been waiting in a woman's reproductive tract days before the release of her egg — ovulation — takes place.

Outside the body — where they're not being nourished and protected by a woman's cervical mucus and vaginal secretions, or the warmth and moisture of a man's urethra and reproductive tract — sperm die anywhere between a half an hour to four hours after being ejaculated. If the ejaculate has dried out, or has been wiped or washed off, there are no longer any living sperm to worry about.

Emergency contraception pills (ECPs) — also known as the "morning-after pill," can reduce the risk of pregnancy if taken within 120 hours of unprotected sex. The sooner they're taken, the more effective they are — they reduce the risk of pregnancy by up to 89 percent if taken within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse.

After a woman takes emergency contraception pills (ECPs), her period may come earlier or later than usual. Also, her flow may be heavier, lighter, or more spotty. If a woman takes ECPs and does not get her period within three weeks — or if she experiences symptoms of pregnancy — she should schedule a follow-up visit with her clinician.

If you are still concerned after a week or two, you can take a pregnancy test to find out if you're pregnant. Highly sensitive pregnancy tests can detect pregnancy within seven days of ovulation.

Hope this information helps!

It was pointless to take the abortion pill if shes just going to go have sex the next day...unprotected. Theres stuff called condoms and birthcontrol that could help prevent pregnancy!Duh

That is terrible, she needs to stop having sex. But just so you know, sperm can stay in her body for up to 3 days.

Not if the pill worked when she took it.
If she was pregnant, it would be eradicating the egg, and she should start her period, if it works.... If not, then well, yeah.......she already would be.
