Native American Indians, South American Indians or the inhabitants of India? No matter which one, it is too simple a question. You'd have about 7 billion answers. Believe it or not, there will be people in the world who don't know of any people outside their own culture, there will be those who are of whichever nationality you are referring to, there will be those who are well informed and have immersed themselves in the various cultures of those people, there will be uninfomred and perhaps bigotted people, and there will be most of us who sit somewhere in the middle of all those points.

You mean people from India, or American Indians? Either way, I don't think you can attribute a "basic belief" of everyone in the world towards them.

Unfortunately the truth is not the "basic belief" about native americans. Native Americas (indians) "RED MAN" were the first human sacrifice on earth according to Gen 3:21. Because of their sacrifice made in the pre-existence God has systematically removed them from the earth in order to receive exhaltation in the celestial kingdom.
If you are refering to those from india they are discendants of ishmael the slave son of Abraham according to Genesis 17:20
