Just seeing. I've just been fed up with going to stores and seeing people just pass the classical music right by, not even taking a look at Mozart or Chopin!!! Grrrrr! I am a total piano nut, so all you supporters out there, please answer! I like other music too, mostly rock, but so do a lot of other people. Classical music stands out on its own. Thanks for answering! :)

oh yeah and how about no appreciation for the music in movies?! the scary parts wouldn't be as terrifying, the romantic parts wouldn't be as emotional, and the feel good parts wouldn't be as happy!

absolutely, i'm a guitar instructor, and i love all kinds of music. its too bad that ppl dont try to listen to things other than what we're force fed by mtv and top 40 radio and stuff....
i think that there are ppl out there too that hear some classical music (usually in movies or something) and like it, and dont know what its called. and it can be hard to keep track of, considering all the names arent in english. lol.
but if you like rock music, and you like classical, check out these guitar players:
paul gilbert (racer X)
randy rhoads (ozzy osbourne's first 2 solo albums)
yngwie malmsteen (solo, alcatrazz)
these guys have combined the two very well, especially randy rhoads. yngwie has unreal ability, but after a few songs it gets kinda old. lol. and look for something called "gilberto concerto". really awesome piece of music.

Johann Sebastian Back and Johann Strauss II are awesome! I've been in love with classical music since my grandma bought me Fantasia when I was a little kid.Know where I can find a good (emphasis on good) copy of The Toccata and Fugue in D Minor, by Bach? That song gives me chills every time I hear it in Fantasia!

I like classical music once in a while. It's not my favorite simple (meaning no human voices) music-- My favorite would have to be the Lord of the Rings soundtrack simple music. Ah... One of my favorite classical music preformers/composes is Szpilman. Piano nuts should appreciate that ( :

I do not play piano myself, I play the violin, how ever I do enjoy the works of Motzart. My favorite composer is Tchaikovski. There's just something so grand about the Slave Marche
