Limewire is free, just like shoplifting is free. The fact is, you have to pay for music because it's owned by whoever recorded it, and they're generally not going to give you a copy for free. If you download music without paying for it, unless it's from the official website of the band (a free sample or such), you're probably stealing it. Downloading music off things like Limewire is really no different than walking into a store and stealing a CD. DOWLOADING COPYRIGHTED MUSIC FROM LIMEWIRE AND OTHER PEER-TO-PEER FILE SHARING SERVERS IS ILLEGAL!
The one place I know of that you can get free music legally is that iTunes has one or two free songs that change every week. Just download those each week and you'll have a significant music collection in no time. Of course, you'll have no say in what's actually in that collection, but beggars can't be choosers, right?

How cheap can you be, it's only a dollar each, save up and buy some of your favorites, it wont take long until ou have a good colection. Try doing some odd jobs to earn money. Work for it, like most of have to do.
