Page is the second greatest guitarist of all time (Behind Clapton), and Gilmour is an overrated guitarist for his solos. Sure, Comfortably Numb is a great solo, but the band's focus wasn't on guitars, and more on lyrics, keyboards, and psychedelia. I don't think Pink Floyd should be considered much of a rock band as more of a psychedelic band....and Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin are, in my opinion, uncomparable. They are my two favourite bands, Pink Floyd being my favourite, but Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd are different, Floyd being psychedelic and Zeppelin being hard rock, but if i had to pick regardless of style, I would choose Pink Floyd.

Led Zeppelin. As a group, they were extraordinarily innovative and very diverse. The same band that did Misty Mountain Hop and Achille's Last Stand did Hot Dog. No two songs ever alike. Not so with Pink Floyd. All their songs drone on and on. Very depressing music, as well. In my humble opinion. And I can't compare the artists. I listen to the whole band.

At first, Barrett hasn't got parranoia ok?He has schizophrenia of using over 30 tabbs of LSD per a day....
Second is for you, and your own spiritual good, do not mess around with two different ways (geners) of rock'n'roll music or may i say more clearly NEVER COMPARE TWO ROCK AND ROLL BANDS because if you do that, that means that you didn't understand and you will never understand the real meaning of the Rock and Roll.
Third, as long as will exist persons who do that and make a ranging of something it will never be peace love and harmony....
and you can never say that you are Zeppelin or Floyd fan

Floyd and Page. Floyd is better music all around, but Page is a much better guitar player. He couldn't craft songs as well, but his sound was extraordinary. He influenced generations to play the guitar.

I love them both! But i have always leaned a little more towards Pink Floyd. I don't care if some people think they are depressing, who cares? They're deep.
