I MEAN THERE TECHNOLOGY CHANGES WEEKLY!!THEY ARE SO ADVANCED....
STILL AMERICA IS THE ONE IN POWER....

Not for long China is graduating 9 times the number of engineers per year than the U.S.A. India is graduating 6 times as many.
Strict emigration is driving foreign graduate students and professors away from the U.S.A. to other countries in Europe, Canada, Australia etc. International science conferences are not being held in the U.S. because of tight immigration rules, time-consuming red tape etc., & arbitrary exclusion. The U.S. is falling behind some countries in $ spent on scientific research. George W. has killed some research areas such as stem cell research, refurbishing the Hubble space telescope. and starved academic research funding.
All this short-sightedness will become better known as U.S. technology falls behind and scientific goods balance of payments and trade imbalances balloon.
Even military parts procurement are increasingly shifted abroad leaving no manufacturers in the U.S.A. Countries like China are becoming the sole supplier for many vital parts, sub-assemblies, and vital sub-modules. China is a potential adversary of the U.S.A.
Looks like technological suicide to me. But what do I know, I'm just a dumb Canadian, and George W. is an American that knows everything.
A country gets the leaders that they vote for and deserve.

America does all the research that costs the big bucks.
Then people steal the microchips and data and bring it to china.
China mass produces every thing. The research costs MEGA BUCKS for America. The production of pc parts on silicon is dirt cheap in comparison to the research costs. China steals it and makes it with cheap labour that violates human rights thats how they do it.

We did drop not one but two atomic weapons on them 61 years ago. I don't think they have forgotten about it... they know who's boss better than most other countries cause they had to learn it the hard way.
