As from my personal experience, most of the people I know to be popular in our high school is less successful than the ones who were low key then. Most of them stayed home either just as stay home moms or practicing local businesses. Some may have gone abroad but most of them are just doing blue collar work. I also do not understand how that happened but somehow I believe that most of them had never really felt bigger in life as compared as to when they were still in high school. Ironic, isn't it?

That depends on what they end up doing with themselves during and after high school. Mostly I've seen them be less successful, but I think its less about their popularity and more about what sort off things can make you popular, or at least infamous.

Probably less depending on your definition of success.

My high school populars are married with kids. The women are stay-at-home moms, and the men are farmers (I came from a small farming community).

The most successful - people like me who were the nerds!!

To be honest I think most of the "populars" have gone down the tubes while the less popular seem to have made good lives.

Yeah they never end up as cool as they were in high school. Those were their best days. My 10 year reunion is August 5th and it'll be interested to get a bigger perspective on it all. Just they were cool once doesn't mean forever. I've definitely got more than a lot of them have - and happier too!
