There have been a number of recent news stories on CNN and other news sites about weather control in China. They have used cloud seeding in the Henan province, which is suffering from a prolonged drought, and succeeded in producing rain. They are also planning to use this method to prevent dust storms during the upcoming Olympic Games.

Yes, the weather can be controlled to a certain extent, and yes I believe it is already being modified. I explain what I think is actually going on and why in this question:

our govermnet experimented with weather control in the forties and fifties, and some say a small degree of success was achieved. To go on about this would make me sound like a conspiricy theorist, so instead I will just give you this.....

no it cant be controlled. it can be modified due to human action. (involunatarily.) but no not controlled.

second of all. it would be appropriate to ask "can climate be controlled" because the weather is just local forecast, not the earths climate. Climate is more of what you thinking about.

nope. we can't control the weather yet, but we should do somethings to protect it. if not, the world will be turning to a worsening region.
