Bare Minerals makeup is great!!
It covers well, doesn't leave a sticky, greasy, feeling on your skin.
Your skin actually feels like it can breathe.
Its particularly good if you have acne and/or oily skin, but good for any skin type.
Covers acne, acne scars, age spots, dark circles, birthmarks, even strawberry birthmarks really well while looking natural.
This stuff is so gentle you can even sleep in it and it won't clog pores, it's lightweight and you don't even notice your'e wearing it and it looks very natural.
I buy mine from QVC, they have good kits sometimes as their Today's Special Value, also check out Ebay, great deals there on Bare Minerals.
If you try it, you'll be hooked- I think this is the best makeup I have ever used, and believe me, I've just about tried them all!

I have used nothing but Bare Minerals for over five years. I wouldn't consider using anything else. I get fabulous coverage and a smooth, flawless finish. My pores dissappear and my spots and flaws are nowhere to be seen. It has been good for my skin, too. My skin got better after starting to use it.
Using mineral makeup properly and getting the best from it takes a bit of practice, but once you get the hang of it, there is absolutely nothing better on the planet, makeupwise.
Give it a try. I think you may really love it.
ETA: Mineral makeup is not a breeding ground for bacteria, so it does not require the harsh preservatives that you find in all other liquid and cream makeups. It does not spoil, change colour or go bad in any way. I never have to waste my money throwing it away after a certain period of time. I can keep it and use it for years. Try that with other kinds of makeup out there.

I've been using it for over 3 years and I love it!! I have fair skin and my biggest problem was not finding a foundation that actually matched my skin tone.
I wouldn't consider using anything else on my skin. It hasn't clogged my pores and I can adjust the coverage so if I need more on certain days it still looks natural.
A little goes a long way, so just because you don't see it on your skin doesn't mean it's not there. That was my biggest adjustment, not seeing it on my skin.
I would stop by either a Bare Escentuals boutique or Sephora and give it a try. QVC also sells the Bare Minerals as well.
Give it a try you have nothing to lose.
Good luck!!

expensive rip-off / it just wears off / try Physicians Formula products at your local pharmacy as a "pure mineral" and significantly cheaper alternative
consider this - if cosmetics companies did NOT use some chemicals as preservatives in their formulations, their products would be a toxic mix of bacteria and other harmful organisms
take a few minutes to review some of the information in a book called Don't Go To The Cosmetics Counter Without Me (it has been in print for decades with continual updates)

I used it and after a while it made me break out and my skin was really blotchy while using. I stopped using it after 6 months and started using Trucco foundation and it is sooo good. Been using for 4 months now with no problems.

No, but I did get Sheer Cover off of tv and it works great. Covers marks, moles, redness, it's great.
