I live in a small town in upper MI and there isn't much to do here. I took up gardening and now I have a really nice veggie garden every year and nice flower beds with petunias, marigolds, geraniums and begonias. This summer I am working on the landscaping in the front yard. At night or on rainy days, I watch the Home and Garden channel to get landscaping and gardening ideas.

Read. I love to read reading a good book is a good way to spend free time or go for a walk to enjoy the beauty all around.

Reading is good or find a hobby perhaps something crafty. Then sell your crafts on Ebay and turn your free time into a profit.
