Can anyone tell me how much it will cost to replace the windshield on a 1992 Lincoln Continental? My insurance is not covering it, I'm paying the full amount out of pocket.

I could do it for 800.00$. It is one of the more expensive windshields. The national average is going to run about 900.00$. If it is a heated windshield you're looking at approx. 2000.00$. You can put a non-heated replacement in though. Just tell the technician to insulate the plug in so it doesn't short anything out.

Try these two sites: I personally have been a satisfied customer of Safelite auto glass. It's also something to consider if they do on site repairs so that you don't have to take time off work.
