Today's teen shows are absolute crap. I'm glad my children are grown and out of the house, cuz if I had to watch more than 10 minutes of any of the top rated teen shows I'd have to shoot 'em. Morals have gone down the toilet and what passes for "entertainment" thses days makes me glad I don't have to grow up in this era.

There are no shows today that I can sit down with my kids and watch. I remember watching tv with my mom and dad when I was little. And even then there were some things that my dad wouldn't let us watch. Cartoons are not even appropriate for children to watch alone any more.
The language is bad and so are the things that are suggested. The shows are not more realistic today than they were then, at least not where we live. Sitcoms used to have a moral or a lesson, now they just have sex.

Because producers were afraid of the messages it would send to parents. They were catering to parents and afraid to confront controversity. Now these days controversy brings ratings.

They were just cheezy with laugh tracks and catch phrases. At least today's shows are more realistic.
