FINALLY, someone else that thinks morrison is overrated. there's a huge jump in talent level and speed..from ncaa to nba. i just don't see morrison being able to adjust. are there any top SF that are as stiff as morrison? he's competitive and has a good shot but he'll have a tough time getting his shot off. plus, defense will be a huge issue with him. imagine him trying to guard VC, jefferson, mcgrady, lebron...lol. i really want to see morrison guard lebron! haha

It is too early for him to be compared to Bird (which is happening). I think he will make an impact right away unlike many and most of the other players in this draft class. Is he overrated as a ball player? Probably. Is he overrated compared to those who are going to be drafted in this class? Probably not. The stache has got to be shaved...too bad Steinbrenner doesn't own the number one draft pick...the stache would be gone before Adam hit the stage in NYC.

I think Adam Morrison is the real deal. He has the body and the outside shooting skills to go with it. He kind of reminds me of a Dirk Niwotski more than a Larry Bird. He did shows some inmaturity when he didnt beat UCLA, but a good coach would fix that possibly the next Warriors coach Larry Brown.

Yes, Woody Paige, amongst others, called Morrisson the next Larry Bird- A ridiculous comparison- I think Adam Morrison will have a good career and be a solid 2nd or 3rd option for a team, but I don't see him evolving into the superstar most expect of him.

I don't think he's overrated; most NBA experts don't view Morrison as a Hall Of Famer; they think he'll be a decent scorer, but nothing more than that.
He'll have a nice career, collect his pension, and disappear.
The mustache can stay; it's the only way he gets noticed.

He will contribute early and be clutch early. Not huge numbers first year, maybe 12, 7, and 3 in a little under 30 minutes. He will make highlights and his confidence will carry his numbers higher in later years. Look for at least a half dozen 30 point games from him.

No i dont, that guy plays his *** off, we need more players like that in the nba, the game nowadays is all about who can score the most points the fanciest. Morrison does what he has to do to get the job done and i like that.
