Everyone has one, that person that they fantasize about, or secretly love and admire, but they never tell that person. I'm 33, I still think about a girl that I used to exult (raise up high to perfection or something), once in kindergarten I asked her to marry me and she gave a funny answer. She once hugged me to help me stop crying about something in 4th grade.

How can I forget about her and move on? I feel lame.

The best way to move on may be to actually contact her and meet up! This way you can see if she meets up to your ideas/fantasies of her. Bet she doesn't! And if she does - who knows what could happen.
Lifes too short to spend it suffering - find out! And leave yourself open to love whatever the result.

Peter, no disrespect intended..............but DUDE!!!, grow up already! How in God's name, after 28 years can you still be hung up on a 5 year old girl? What's the deal? Haven't you had any relationships at all in your lifetime? You really need some help! I mean it's one thing to reminisce every now and then, but to go through life obsessing over a 5 year old........COME ON!

Now the 'small boobs' comment made, while hitting on engaged girls on Yahoo! Answers makes sense. Wow.

I agree, though. You should feel lame.
