On all new laptops, you can leave them plugged in all the time, only on laptops that are older is it necessary to run down the battery every now and then completely. If it is getting too hot(like on the new Macbook Pros), then it might just be better to unplug it(but not run it down). They have sofisticated technology to make sure you don't hurt the battery by leaving it plugged in.

Unplug it when it is fully charged. If you leave it plugged in all the time it can decrease the batter life(in the long run).
If you let the battery run all the way down then it can also decrease batter life in the long run.

No, either way, it works just fine. Would you unplug a normal computer if it was fully charged (meaning always)? I think not. Next question!
It does NOT matter what kind of computer battery you have.

If you're going to use the laptop for a LONG time, leave it plugged in. If not, unplug it to save electricity.

for most its ok to leave them plugged in, more important is to be sure your placing the laptop on a surface that allows airflow to the underside of the computer. most laptops require airflow from the underside for there cooling system. I always see people leaving laptops on beds or other such areas that totally cut off the air flow, then they complain there computer is always hot ad soon they complain its not working vary well any more.

They (dell) to plug it in as much as possible. Not using the battery will make the battery life last longer.

Charge it and unplug it because it spoils the consistency of the battery to deliver optimized performance.

I prefer leaving it in because it will be fully charged the next time you use it. It really doesn't matter, whatever you prefer because some people like their laptops to be wireless.

You should unplug it. It won't overcharge, but if you unplug it you wont have to worry about an electrical surge or lightening strike frying your laptop.
