I live in Chicago and I'm 13. I know I can sing people tell me. But I was wondering how do I record a CD and where do I record one?

Where should I look to record a demo? and how much would it cost to record one and how many songs should a demo have?

look up local studios..........save up at least 500 dollars for a CHEAP demo......but just write songs if u can....if u cant, let me know...im a big writer.

wait till your 16 and go on american idool.it is the best way to get discovered.but if you cant wait that long,record a demo cd at a local studio and send it to record companies.

you pay a recording studio to record one for you.

The prices vary and if it is not orginal matterial you will have to have a release to use them.

IF you have not taken singing lessons you will need lessons to help you with tone, breathing and more ( even the best use singing coaches)

You also need to learn music theroy, notes cords, harmonics and the such.

And then you need to start singing ( for free of course) at anywhere you can to get some experience
