Actually it is extremely good. Plants do take in minimal amounts of oxygen, but they take in large amounts of carbon dioxide and produce a great deal of oxygen, so the air quality in your bedroom will be healthier as long as you have healthy houseplants that are not overwatered (as that could cause mildew or mold from too much humidity). Not only do plants produce oxygen, they also clean the polluted air inside of a home (which is actually worse than outside). I have asthma, but I also have 9 plants in my bedroom, and my hubby and I sleep very well. There are live plants in every room actually, at one time my hubby said he thought we lived in a jungle! The first 2 websites below support what I have experienced. Make sure that you provide enough light for your plants (if low light, put up a grow light and keep it on during the day.) Otherwise, plants will not respond correctly and may take in more oxygen. See third website.

It would be slightly difficult for most people to grow plants in a bedroom first of all. Second, if what you are trying to ask is, "Would I get more oxygen if I had many plants in my bedroom?". The simple answer is yes, however, you are not going to feel any different. The body has adapted to the levels of oxygen found naturally occurring.
To answer your question "Do plant's take in oxygen at night"? Yes, plants need oxygen as well. Most people do not know this, but plants need to take in oxygen as well as carbon dioxide. Carbon dioxide is needed to form sugars during photosynthesis, while oxygen is needed to release the energy made.

Plants take in carbon dioxide and give off oxygen. Plants in the home is a good thing, unless you're allergic to the plant.

While plants do use some oxygen at night, they make so much more during the day (as much as 10x) that you come out ahead. Plus, there's the mental benefit of sharing your room with lovely green plants!

Plants in your bedroom is a good idea. Plants produce oxygen which will actually help provide for better breathing. Better breathing should give you a better night's rest.

No. respiration is the taking in of oxygen and the launch of carbon dioxide and flora attempt this 24 hours an afternoon an same as another organism. flora also soak up carbon dioxide and launch oxygen for the time of photosynthesis, the person-friendly reaction component to this in uncomplicated phrases takes position at the same time as there is photo voltaic and that's the bit that makes use of carbon dioxide from the ambience. in case you degree gases emitted from a plant then you definately will discover that they emit oxygen in the course of the day - photosynthesis produces extra oxygen than required through the plant for respiration, then at nighttime they launch carbon dioxide as this isn't used for photosynthesis at nighttime, because it really is in the course of the day.

I'd say yes because of the oxygen, but who wants to be George of the jungle. I'd spread them over the house to evenly distribute that precious oxygen.

plants r unique in terms of their respiration is considered, they utilise CO2 in the presence of light (visible light) to synthesise sugar (food) for their growth and release O2 in return as a by-product, which living beings may use for their respiration. at night when there's no visible light, photosynthesis ceases and dey begin respiration i.e. dey intake O2 and in return give away CO2.
so, d bottom line is dat it matters only if at night u r sleepin in a closed room with multitude people in a single, when the amount of O2 is limited in the room, as d concentration of CO2 will build up n people inside may manifest suffocated n asphyxiated. although, if the room is well ventilated, d constant shift of air current will repl3enish d O2 availability in d room. the size of the plant in d room also matters, try 2 place dem at the window shelf to vent out CO2 at night n it olso helps maintain d pests away from d bedding area.
