Sounds to me like you've been listening to too much country music...
Seriously though, time and meeting someone else will heal your broken heart, and you'll understand that for every broken heart there is someone waiting for the chance to help heal the hurt. Not everyone is mean and cruel. Not everyone has good intentions either. You just need to filter between the two.
You'll be fine in time.
Meanwhile, do what you like to do - whatever hobbies you have, do them! Travel, whatever you like to do. It will take your mind off things until you DO meet someone else - then your heart won't even remember its been broken, and it won't even be a bad memory - it will be just another memory.

It's hard to handle a broken heart. It will be hard to take any advice on how to handle a broken heart also. The best thing to do is go places, do things so your not sitting around thinking about what broke your heart in the first place. Surround yourself with people that care about you. When your around them dont discuss the broken heart. Just have fun with them and have conversations with them so your not still dealing with your heart 24 hours. Trust me it will eventually heal. May not seem like it now but it does. Hope you feel better soon.

Prayer helps a great deal. Ask God to remove the pain that you feel. Lean on His strength and you will find in time, you will wonder why you even allowed that much power to make you hurt the way you did.
It is true that time heals all wounds...but while you are in it now, find healty outlets, things that will distract you. Begin a good suspense book, take up a hobby, join a local club or organization of some time, volunteer your time - do something anything to get your mind off of that person.
Do not allow that person to have anymore control over how you feel.
Best Wishes.

The broken hearted find mended hearts eventually. Start by loving God and yourself and the lose of others will not seem so hard. Have faith that what didn't work out was the right place for you to be and that the caretaker over your heart is still out there.

This may sound very lame, but find a hobby. Painting, roller blading, horse back riding, etc. The more your mind is on something else, the less it is on your ex. If not that, then find someone else for now. Mrs. Rightnow may be the answer to your prayers, and your broken heart.

When you get a broken heart it is because your true emotional content has been violated of trust. In order to regain that trust you must not put your self in denial, but move on gently with your life and re-experience what you lost, but this time it will be much better because you won't allow it to happen again. The lucky person to win you is the one that will not violate you.

You can start by reading the Bible and learn that God is with you. Maybe go to church and makes good friends. And pray to God to help you with your pain. I get my feelings hurt every single day of my life. I just try to live one day at a time which is how we all have to do anyway. My own boyfriend says things that are very hurtful thinking it will get him his way. Well all he is doing is causing more pain. But i try not to think about everything all the time. Get a good book and read it, it will get your mind off your problems for a little while. And eventually the pain will lesson. Good luck to you.

You can do one of two things:
First, get some kind of piece of mind.
Second, just admit the it's gone and move on. While there is always an answer, you might not always be able to find the answer.
Lastly, you have to know you have value and relationship is just one part of life. It shouldn't be ur whole life that ties you down

My heart is broken too. What I do is build a strong brick wall around my heart and it protects me when needed. If someone comes along that I have chemistry with that wall crumbles quickly. Lately the wall has been up way too strong. But I haven't give up. Don't you give up.
Imagine how good love will feel when your heart is healed.

Find something you love and do it. Hang out with friends that loves you and will make you laugh. Time, that is what becomes of a broken heart. Time, will heal everything.
