i am planning on getting my belly button periced i was just wondering if it hurt at all??

Not very much, it's a little bit uncomfortable but certainly not screaming pain. I think ears hurt worse also. The painful bit is trying to walk properly without it rubbing on your clothes for the next 3 weeks!

yes, but I think getting a tattoo is a lot more painful. Just like any flesh wound, you have to take care of it and keep it clean. If you get it done, bring a friend so you have a hand to squeeze. Wear loose clothing around your middle so it doesn't get irritated (for about a week). I love mine, I just put it back in!!

no it really wasnt as bad as i thought it would be. i mean if you're easily freaked out and grossed out by needles, then you might have a problem, but if you dont really mind needles or the thought of something piercing you, you'll be fine. just relax and dont think too much about it when you're getting it done. just got mine done last saturday for my b-day. if there is any pain it's really quick and definitely bearable and then you just have to be careful with any sudden movements, bending down, stretching back for a couple days. but the sensitivity goes away pretty quickly.

Ummm no. God people that come in to get their belly buttons done are so annoying. They freak out when you just put the clamp on them. Geeze. If you are that worried about the paint that is non existant with it then don't even bother with it. Its like a pinch then its done.

no, not really. it is probably the least painful of all piercings, with the exception of your ears. it will hurt if you let it get infected though, so keep it cleaned with iodine. pierce it with a curved needle and wear a hoop for 6 weeks to further minimize pain.

LOL.. not at all! Seriously, anticipating the pain is so much worse! I have mine done and it just felt like some pressure, kind of like getting stung by a bee

Yes it hurts, but the pain is minimal. You won't really feel it until after its already done. And it will be mildly painful while its healing. I've been pierced 5x and its not so bad.

It hurts, but it's definately bearable, I think the most painful peircing I got was my nose, it hurt more than my tongue!!!

No I've had it done twice it just stings for the seconds that they push the needle through then it goes away.
