I just read a question that asked what is the one cool thing that makes you you? And someone said that she was the mommy of 3beautiful kids.Maybe what makes her, her is her cool laugh or pretty blond hair or funny toes. We are all special in some way before we are wives or mothers. We have all of these cool thing so we can be wives and mothers, not the other way around, right? My granddad told me once that you have to be a person, before you can raise a person, and I have lived by that.
Does anyons else think that it is wrong for women to only value themselves by the fact that they are a wife and mother?

Actually the main purpose of life is to procreate. Without woman no man.
and vice versa. Yes we all are very unique and special. It is not wrong for
women to think that way, we all have different values, at certain times in our lives. Some just put more value than others. You are right also ,and have
very good values your self. Also women have built in biological time clocks
in their genes, and at certain ages of their life, they yearn to have babies.
Some early some late some never, and most unplanned. Try and plan your baby and you will be much happier in life and the baby will to. OK C Ray

No, I have to agree with her. I am a single Dad and that is my most important achievment to date, and is what I feel is what identifies me. Wait to you have a bambino or two and you will know what she means. For a lot of us, it is the singularly most important experience of our lives to become a parent. It gave me a reason for being and tied a lot of loose ends and questions that I had, i.e. why am I here.

But that is what made that one woman feel unique, so who are you to rain on her parade. It is what makes her happy.
