Uber sort of means super, like "super great" and "super depressing." I believe it's is derived from a German word, although I'm not positive.

All types of people say uber, but it is most common around "hip" youth.

Its German for OVER...When they use the word in front of Male or man as in UBER MAN...they mean a mans man...someone who is so manly as to be able to give lessons to other men.

Its German for 'over' and it's said by people who have an excellent education and a degree in something. Or a good grasp of other languages.

It means over in German. For some reason the so called "hackers" (or as they would type, h4x0rz) tend to think it means the best. They are sadly mistaken.

It is German...but I thought it meant "super"

On the old old Saturday Night Live they did a skit about Uberman (Superman if he had fought for the Germans in WW2)

"I AM UBERMAN...I STAND FOR UNTRUTH, UNJUSTICE AND DER NAZI WAY !"
