Something that helps me gather inspiration is to grab my digcam and go out into the world and just shoot photo after photo, of anything, in any way it happens to come at the viewfinder.
People, statues, flowers, park benches, elderly people, kids etc etc.
If you find yourself more interested in certain subjects i.e. still life pieces, landscape, floral...then take lots and lots of photos of the area you really enjoy drawing.
Then, go home, load the pics onto the computer and take whatever photo depicts something you find interesting to draw.
Sometimes I grab a National Geographic (I enjoy drawing/painting african safari subjects, Native American Indian and Oriental subjects the most) so I tend to grab my inspiration from this magazine as well as Wildlife, travel and other art books.
Don't worry your inspiration will come back...you just need to look around and figure out what moves you. Don't pressure yourself, it will all come together for you...
Good luck

Perhaps you have something on your mind that is blocking your creative activity. I know that when I cant draw I will leave the pencil and simple feel horrible. But then I will be looking in a magazine or book not at the pictures before me but those in the back ground, or how I can re create that picture with a new stoke on the canvas. Then, I am ready to get back to work.
But the best thing I have learned is not to push it, not to beat yourself up because you just don't want to draw right now. Let it go, be at peace with yourself. You know you can do it, and it will come back to you.
I also started a journal many years ago, drawing those moments in my life that meant something to me, the road to the farm, the truck we rode in, the mail box of my home in El Paso, the horse in the stall in Calif. The first sports car my hubby bought me, my son, standing on his head. My daughter crying riding a wooden horse. The flowers at my dads grave. Everything has a time...you will draw again. Just take it easy. Its there it will never leave you, rest...breath and enjoy.

Here are three things you have to do in order to be creative.
Have fun.....Find something you like doing (other than drawing) and have fun. Maybe go to the park, a ball game, whatever just have fun.
Relax...Don't stress over having to create. Involve your self in gardening, a relaxing time in the hot tub or a hot bath. Just forget drawing and relax.
Change Senery...Get out of your every day routine. Go out with a friend, Take a long weekend away. Just change your senery.
Then draw.

Find something to draw, anything. Set your timer for 10 minutes and tell yourself you can stop drawing when the timer goes off.
You will probably want to keep on drawing. This works for me EVERY time.
It also works for house cleaning.

Think back to a period in your life when you were productive.
What was going on in your life at the time, not just the events of personal history, but your emotional responses to them, and why you responded to them in that way.
If possible, try and seek similar experiences, or experiences that produce similar reactions.
Me, I'm at my most creative and productive when I'm under stress from a novel situation. Pity I'm such a creature of habit, I could be a ******' Rembrandt. ;)

maybe it is time to try something new. drawing is great, but you can only take it so far. try painting, it gives you more options.
