I think George Lazenby was THE best of all the Bond actors. But history shows the opposite- the critics show the opposite. If he wasn't the best 007 why is it that all of the DVD movies from "Dr.No" to the most recent can be bought for about $15.00 (or less new). "On Her Majestys Secret Service" DVD costs at least $35.00 . Just one DVD. This number staggers me . I was only about ten years old when the movie was released in theatres. If Lazenby was not popular then why charge this much for THIS movie?

I love how the other people on here say that "NOBODY" cares or wants to buy the DVD.

I did. I must be nobody.

They are right about the demand being low. But do not fear, this fall when the new James Bond comes out they will re-release all of them again and hopefully with new extras on them. They will more than likely drop the price of On Her Majesty's Secret Service.

As for Lazenby? Connery and Brosnan are my favorites but I have always clung to the theory that had audiences given him a chance and he done more Bond films he might have been more successful. I really like OHMSS but 40 years later, apparently "nobody" cares.

Actually when you view that movie again, he wasn't as bad as they made him out to be. Could be the expectations were too high for him. He did a credible job, but perhaps not what the public wanted. They still wanted Sean Connery in the roll.
As to the costs of the DVD, they simply made fewer of them, and that increases the price for those who collect them.

0.5 of what the WWE writes is infantile. it rather is previous infantile and borders on offensive, even however i'm getting it being purely a cheesy storyline and not a sexist assertion. i think of it oftentimes has to do with undesirable writers giving rubbish to undesirable actors because of the fact it rather is much less complicated than coaching them the thank you to placed on a stable wrestling adventure. As an element notice, ever be conscious how the "fat" women are those that attempt against nicely?

Sean Connery is the best James Bond. No one can pull off that character like he can.
I like Chris N's explanation.

because the dvd price is expensive is because nobody wants to buy it and its production is limited. only pure collectors like will buy it. for me connery and bronson make the best bond. here's wishing daniel craig the best.
