Well you start with a Hot wire
Then the Ground wire
From there hook your blinkers

If it still doesn't work than your lights are not grounded well
or your bulbs are burnt..

check all the power at the plug first,,do this by having someone assist you,,and turn on all the light,s,,turn and so-on,,if it works,s at the plug the hook it up to the trailer, now try grounding the white wire,,which is the ground to the trailer,if you get light,s you just need to fasten the ground to the trailer also make sure the light,s are grounding to the trailer,,sometimes ,,especially on new trailer,s the paint will not allow it to ground good,,if all this check,s good,,check the bulb,s make sure there in the socket good,,sometimes if they get wet it will cause them to break ground,,just take your time,,and you,ll get it,,hope this help,s some.

First make sure that your trailer is plug is grounded to the frame. This is not a tilt bed is it? If it is you need to run a secondary groung at the pivot point to make a good ground to the back of the trailer. Then make sure you have a good groung at the tow vehicle
