x + (x + 2) + (x + 4) + (x + 6) > 96
x + x + 2 + x + 4 + x + 6 > 96
4x + 12 > 96
4x > 84
x > 21
so the next odd interger that is greater than 21 is 23
The consecutive odd intergers are 23, 25, 27, and 29
ANS : 23

let the first odd integer be x
therefore other would be x+2, x+4 , x+6
as sum is greater than 96
therefore x+x+2+x+4+x+6> 96
4x + 12> 96
x > 21
therfore first integer should be greater than 21 but not 21 therefore your ans is 23

Let's see . . .
Let n be the first odd integer.
n + (n+2) + (n+4) + (n+6) = 96 = 4n + 12
4n = 96 - 12 = 84
n = 84/4 = 21
So, for their sum to be greater than 96 the first integer must be 23.

n first odd integer
n+n+2+n+4+n+6>96
4n>84
n>21
then the first integer that is minimum is 23 because this will be exceed the value of 96 when you add the next 3 consecutive odd integer with the 21 so there are 4 to be added to be exceed

the integers would be x, x+2, x+4, and x+6
you add them together and the sum is less than 96
so
4x+12 is less than 96
solve using algebra and x is your answer
also x should be odd if not add 1 to make it odd
