why do so many people like country music?!!? there is no music! every song sounds the same and have the most basic rythms ever. if all u can do on a guitar is strum chords then i dont think that counts as being a musicianist. anybody here love metal? now, thats actual talent. for example, the members of between the buried and me have doctorates in whatever instrument they play. they're insane. but he is legend is still the best band ever.

It is a nice change of pace now and then. If you are a music fanatic, then you might like to hear what is going on in all kinds of music. You might also want to learn about the roots and history of all kinds of music. I think it is interesting to see how different kinds of music evolved through the years. I prefer older country to newer. There are some great guitarist in country music, if you are a guitarist yourself. Some days I like country and other days I like rock, jazz, blues, big band, bluegrass, oldies rock, whatever matches my mood, I guess.

In you mind I'm sure your right. BUT I disagree. Country music is good, and you can actually hear the words, and if you listen there is something said in every song. Where as in metal I can't understand any words in most of the songs.

some ppl don't like the metal stuff. country doesn't have most of the same rhythms. it's not all about the guitar either, it's about all the instruments working together. i like metal but i like country too. i'm the kind of person that likes all kinds of music. y do u like metal? y does someone like r and b? everyone is diff.

What is so great about any genre of music? Not everyone loves ever genre. I like a lot of different music. But even if I totally hate something there is always someone out there that likes it.
