yeah she sounds EXACTLY like me. you cant really do anything. she has to do something for herself. so many times people tried to save me, but they didnt understand that we have to save ourself. she has to cope with it, learn how to understand it or avoid it. all you can do to help is be there for her, get her away from her mom as much as possible. find the things that make her happy and pretty just drown her in them. let her know you care and your there for her. dont force her to open up to you, or force her to stop doing what shes doing. she wont listen. you have to help her want to get better.

She is obviously having problems at home which is causing her emotional distress. Unless something is done about her home life it's probably just going to get worse. She needs to sit down and talk to her parents about how she feels and how they are treating her. They may not realize how their actions toward her are causing her to be depressed and hurt herself.
Talk to your friend about speaking with her mom. If she doesn't want to do it alone maybe you and/or your mom could go with her to talk to her parents. She needs to let her feelings out and her home life needs some adjustment.

You should talk to her seriously, tell her what's wrong, be by her side and try to take her to a doctor for depression. I use to feel really sad and lonely too but started to see a doctor and took depression pills now I feel better.

you need to see human services and tell them about it and they will help and intervene and if her mum is emotionally asbusing her then the girl needs to get out and get better
