Does anyone think that the new superman will live up to Christopher Reeve's performances? I'm just curious. by the way, here's a site with a tone of clips you can't find usually. www.IESB.net

P.S. I thought this was going to be pretty bad until I saw the clips, I'm pretty excited now.

Yes, I cannot wait until Weds! Love the Reeve movies, but I think from the look of it Routh will be great, if not better. The only thing I am worried about is Lois and her son, but I am sure that it will be the best movie I have seen in a very long time.

I'm not a Superman fan, but I've seen all of the movies and enjoy Justice League. I'd say Routh lives up to Reeve's performances quite well. But to me, Superman Returns wasn't as entertaining as X-Men 3.

Lois's son is Superman's I bet. Time frame (5 years between Supes 2 and this) is right. I can't wait to see the effects!

i had this debate with my brother last night. at first i was excited about the new superman movie mainly because the direct of the successful x-men series was on board, but then i had doubts. now, i don't think its gonna be a 100% bowl of crap, but its gonna be like the hype of your first time. sure, its sounds like its gonna be all Cinemax sexy, but then it turns out to be... eh---
movies like hulk, daredevil, and more recently fantastic four blew themselves up to god-like proportions only to let us down like your deadbeat dad does. you knew he wasn't gonna show up to take you to the fair no matter how much he hyped it up. point is, don't give into the hype. at least, i'm not gonna. even though i'm gonna see it at imax, i still have to keep my head about it. otherwise, the matrix truly has me...
