The cheapest cars to get insured are the ones that are least stolen. That means that they are slow ugly family cars. Foreign cars are all expensive to insure and all SUV's are expensive also. Vans are generally cheap to insure because they are rarely stolen and reasonably safe. Most people that drive vans are family people that aren't driving like morons or speeding.
When was the last time you got passed by a van?
