Because there is something wrong with your mouse .. check the mouse or try a new mouse ... it will be fine ..

Depending on the type of Mouse you own it could be that your mouse is broken. Optic mouse it would be computer error. I'm leaning towards human error. Just buy another mouse and try it out if does the same thing as before then its your computer.

If you have an optical mouse, then it is on an uneven surface or hasdebris on it. If you have a roller mouse,there is dirt in the rollers. Unscrew the bottomand clean out the rollers with a q-tip.

Is it just moving or clicking on things also? If it's moving just a little bit it's nothing - maybe a dirty mouse. If it's clicking on things then someone if controlling your PC remotely.

If you have a laptop it's because you press onto the mouse pad too hard and move it randomly too much

If you are part of a network (for example, at work) the it department may be remotely working on your computer.
