Your body is just a little behind. You'll catch up and (hopefully) your baby will be perfectly healthy.

My friend is 14 weeks and had the similiar symptoms.. The doc said it was because she wasn't drinking enough water.
I also have kids and I was sick with everyone of them. I was really sick with the second pregnancy to the point that I had to take Phenegren which is a sedetive for the stomach muscles. It helped me keep down water.. (I couldn't even keep down a glass of water!)
every pregnancy is different but with me they were typically all the same because i was sick with them all. All my kids were in the 6 pound range and all were healthy full term babies.
if you are really worried about this go see your obstetrician. I'm sure he/she will be more than happy to tell you what you need to do or know.

Beautiful's answer is RIGHT, and right to the point... every pregnancy is different, person to person, AND each that you yourself will have....
As far as the feeling of starting a period, let your doctor know, or check with him.. could just be the growth of your uterus feeling uncomfortable..
the light heartedness could be your circulatory system trying to adapt to it's enlarging demands.. again, let the doc know
as for the nausea .. with my girl, first trimester, had to wait to eat every morning until I did the cookie-toss, then I was fine... second trimester was BLISSFUL
with my boy, I was fine in the morning, but as the day went on the nausea got worse and worse.. I basically had to eat as much as possible before lunchtime, and that lasted right up until delivery
good luck!! enjoy your baby-to-be...

Morning sickness started around week 5 for me and hasnt ended yet, though its not as bad! I'm 21 weeks today.. Just recently I've started feeling light headed at times. May be from not eating enough, a blood pressure issue, or not drinking enough. be sure to drink lots of water! and always stand up slowly. Those achy pms/period type cramps come and go for me, and I've been told they're ok as long as they remain mild!

i had the same thing, typical pregnacy. I was naiseated until i was aboout 6 months. But when that stage is over a more difficult one starts. My back was killing me. But it'll be all worth it in the end. I have a precious 6 month old now!
