he's the front runner in my book

He has the wrong attitude. He doesn't make his teammates better. Sad thing is, he could and does on occasion. He is a great passer and can rack up assists quick. The lakers have great low post players and if he penetrated and dished more often he could get the award, but he won't. The MVP is the face of the NBA. The MVP needs to be stable, generous, and coachable. These players include, Lebron, Wade, Nash, Allen, Brand. Nash won't win a third in a row most likely, althought he will be top three for sure. I can see Wade getting it, the added confidence from a ring and the notice people took in his game. He is also a much better defender than Lebron.

Yes. The Lakers will go deeper in the playoffs. A MVP needs to win a ton of regular season games and next year Kobe will do it.

They have no choice but to give it to Kobe if he have any kind of season like he had last year plus he proved he's not a selfish player (which i already knew) in the playoffs. Hopefully they grab Ben Wallace or Garnett this off season.

He should've won it this Year! Not just because of scoring 81 points. He average 35 points during the year and he proved that he can share the ball.
