I think he's one of those actors who completely loses himself in the character, like Viggo Mortensen. It's a phenomenal gift!

I enjoyed most of his movies over the years. Loved Edward Scissorhands and Benny and Joon. Then I saw Pirates of the Carribean and was hooked! I loved him in that!!! I never dreamt I would be so blown away by a guy in eye liner! I can't wait to see the sequel either!

i love Johnny depp and all the movies he has been in are great. I cant wait for the sequel to POTC either.

He is the perfect hollywood actor......with dark handsome good looks, stellar acting (it's a pity he hasn't yet won the oscars) and not always joining the different celebrity bandwagons but keeping a low key profile.
What would I not give to be in Vannesa's (his wife) place.

i admire him because of the fact he's in a important sort of my fave director, Tim Burton, video clips (Willy Wonka, Corpse Bride, Edward Scissorhands). I fell in love with him in Edward Scissorhands and he's the suitable pirate! And in Arizona Dream, he became superb. Plus his looks are not undesirable the two.

I think that he is a good actor BUT
but as for his negative remarks about the US
he can take along walk on a short plank
