Angelina Jolie loves it, so it can't be that bad, You may even have a better chance of getting a celebrity sighting over there. Plus all the cool animals, just be careful of aids and villagers.

I'm an American living in Tunisia for the past five years. I absolutely love it! The people are nice, the country is safe, and it is rich in history and culture. At one point Carthage (located in Tunis, the capitol city) was the central of the ancient world. There are also many ruins from the Roman empire and from WWII. The beaches are gorgeous and I enjoy the lazy days of summer. To me, it is the perfect place to raise kids (which I am doing) and I consider it my home.

I lived in Zambia for a couple of years but also did a bit of travelling around the Southern - central part. It was one of the most amazing places I've been to. The land is beautiful and the people are the friendliest I've met, But I came across a lot of poverty and illness which was heartbreaking. But it certainly has a special place in my heart.

I am from S.A and it's an amazing experience to go there as a tourist, don't take the regular tours but go backpacking and see as much as possible, you don't want to miss out on Gordons' Bay and Durban, you would love it!
