Because the liberals don't want the American people to know that Bush was right when he said Iraq has WMDs. However, the liberals (at first) agreed with the President (they made the same arguments he made) and then changed their tiny minds about it. I wonder why they aren't trying to take credit and say that they were right all along. Its bound to happen. Yes, I know about Resolution 1441, but the liberals don't like it. The fact that Saddam buried 500 WMDs in the country and never reported them just shows that Bush was right. Even if they aren't in working condition (which they ARE despite what liberals say), it is still a CLEAR violation of the UN sanctions.

The reason you don't hear anything is because this is the third or fourth time US troops have stumbled over a small cache of outdated, shells that once contained poison gas, but were essentially worthless as a battlefield weapon decades before the Iraq war began. This is stuff that was left over from the Iraq - Iran war (the one in which the US "tilted" in favor of Iraq).
Even if you piled all the shells together and set them off, it would not be a weapon of mass destruction as described by Bush, Cheney and poor old Powell. Remember the "mushroom cloud" remark?
In short, this stuff merely shows that when Iraq tried to clean up all the left over arms from the Iran-Iraq war that they missed some small warehouses.
Yes there are people who hate the US. The problem is that due to the current administration's inept bungling there are now more people who hate the US in Iraq and the Arab/Islamic world than there were before the US invaded Iraq.
And, by the way, our good, close allies, the Saudis used amputation for theft and other crimes well before the Taliban came to power and are still using amputation today. The Saudis also behead people for pre-marital sex, attempting to change one's religion from Islam to Christianity, and a host of other activities that the West does not consider criminal, let alone should be punished by mutilation, amputation, or death.

3 sarin gas canisters killed over 5000 people under saddams previous regime. we have found over 100 canisters. sarin gas does not degrade like mustard gas. it is just as lethal as it used to be. besides wmds, the war in iraq is keeping the terrorists there and not here. in the months after 9/11, how many of you would have bet big money that we would have another attack in the next year or 2?.....its almost been 5.
go Bush
go USA

First, i dont think you have enough information to determine whether the people there hate us. Wheres your proof? Have you lived there? have you asked any REAL middle eastern people or people who have middle eastern back grounds?
Second, I would like to point out that i see you have offered ZERO evidence as to the recent WMD find in Iraq. Wheres your sources? Who's providing this information?
Finally, if middle eastern people hate the American lifestyle, its not because we shave or listen to music, its more because we hare involved in operations (UN sanctions on Iraq, Operation Iraqi Freedom) that cause countless deaths and never ending civil strife there...

what network did u hear this from? fox news? if so, thats the problem right there. everybody from fox news is completely biased toward george bush. and im not trying to be a little dick here b/c there's proof. on a news program i was watching it showed a list of rules and such for when dick cheney went into his hotel room. one of them was that the t.v. must already be turned on, and MUST be tuned fox news. doesnt that sound a little suspicious? also, there was a study that showed that people who watch fox news have more misconceptions about the war than anybody who watches any other network

Bush become waiting to conquer them adverse to a more desirable candidate than Obama. i imagine McCain is waiting till the Republican convention to commence his own "Surge". he will spotlight the inexperience and Socialist plans of Obama. through exhibiting anybody the real cost in taxe$$$ and pastime losses that Obama's plans will deliver forth, he will have a good probability to take Obama in Nov. the reality continually comes out. Now that we do no longer trust in CBS,NBC, or ABC, and persons like Dan extremely and Uncle Walter were uncovered because the Liberal hacks that they were, we produce different resources for our assistance. people will decry Sean Hannity as a properly Wing voice yet he brazenly and freely admits he's a Conservative. people like Wolf Blitzer, Dowd or Couric on the different hand, will insist they're honest and balanced and are not stimulated through their Liberal beliefs...BS!

The US did not invade Iraq to eliminate WMD's.
The US invaded because George Bush stated that Iraq posed an immediate threat to the US. And had WMD's to use when they (invaded? attacked?) the US.
You ever notice how ignorant GWB's supporters are?

1) They were more than 13 years old and highly degraded
2) The accusation was that SH had ongoing WMD research and stockpiles; not that he had them in the past
3) Even the government felt that these "WMD"s were irrelevant; believe it, if there was a hint of reasonably calling these a "smoking gun" then we would have seen them paraded in front of the news cameras months and/or years ago.
