I don't want to switch it over to my new email account, but now it wont let me sign in as a different user on the yahoo menu, it goes strait to the sbc yahoo account.

when u made ur account it asked if u wanted to bind them and if u have the same id then its binded and both ids are under the same account. Thats why u have a choice when sending mail to send it from your yahoo.com or sbcglobal.net

just go to yahoo, and sign in with your yahoo id
