I've visited Juarez and full-frame American V-8's definitely dominate there. There are Fords, Chryslers, and Buicks from the '50's still on the road, along with the new Crown Victorias that the "rich"people drive. You see a few old Chevys and Dodges and a fair number of VW's.

I know they have a lot of American Cars. But from what I understand, Mexico was awarded rights from VW to make the old style of beetle/bug cars (the ones with the 2 stroke engines). These cars are the most used cars in Mexico.

When I went on vacation in Mexico I was so amazed at all the Volkswagens they drive. I guess they came from the USA.

They have all the ones stolen from the U.S.A. that make it back across the boarder. It makes me sick because I lost two cars to those theives when I lived in Texas. And guess what the cops said? "There is really nothing we can do about it." and "We will let you know if we come across it."
