I'm surprised that no one mentioned Billy Crystal's controversial gay character in the '70s television series "Soap." (I'm pretty sure his role in that show preceded the rest that were mentioned.)

He is an actor and comedian from New York City. Crystal is of Jewish decent and has often played an old Jewish man in his comedy. He is a former cast member of Saturday Night Live and has appeared in many films, including "City Slickers" 1 and 2, "When Harry met Sally" and "Mr Saturday Night" One of my favorite Crystal roles in that of Medicine Max in "The Princess Bride"
Billy Crystal has Hosted the Oscars many times. Most recently he is the author of a book written for his grandchild to be titled "I already know i love you"
These are just a few things about him that I know off the top of my head.

A comedian who did a stint on Saturday Night Live in the 80's and an actor too. Also hosted an award ceremony for a number of years. He's very funny.

He's an actor, comedian, and writer (plays, books, and children's books).
He's known for hosting the Academy Awards (8 times between 1990 and 2004). He was also the host of "Comic Relief" which raises money for the homeless in America.
Some of the MANY movies he's done include "When Harry Met Sally", "City Slickers", "Analyze This", "My Giant", and others.
You may also know him as the voice of the little green monster (Mike) in "Monsters Inc."

Billy Crystal started out as a stand up comedian. He was on SNL when it was really funny. He also has acted in Movies.

have you watched Analyze That starring robert de niro and his psychartrist?the latter's billy crystal.or hav u watched america's sweethearts starring julia roberts & john cusack?he's john cusack's manager if i'm not wrong.He's an actor but he's a comedian as well.A very funny guy despite being at an age of 50.(hope tt answered yr question.=))

He's a 50's something Actor. He was in When Harry Met Sally("oh yes, yes yes!" "I'll have what she's having"), or more recently Monster's Inc as the voice of Mike (the one eyed green one)
