I have a pop-up or download that is unwanted froma site called-- moviepass.Need basic info,please?

I have an unwanted pop-up or download I can"t delete.It is called or named Moviepass.I cannot delete it from add/delete programs.
I need very basic information.I am a newcomer on the computer.
Please help!

It sounds like your computer has been infected with an adware or spyware program(s). I recommend that you download an antispyware software program to delete the file. Download Spybot Search&Destroy and Lavasoft's Ad Aware from:(http://www.filehippo.com/software/antispyware/)

After installing the two programs, update the programs.

You need some free programs called Ad-Aware and Spy-Bot Search And Destroy. Use these should get rid of most pop ups like this.
