I mean, when someone has no experience, does no research, and just writes something like "I dunno", why should they get 2 points? I think they should have five points DEDUCTED for wasting people's time reading B.S.

Put yourself in the shoes of the Asker. S/he's spent five points to ask a question, hopefully in good faith and need, or curiousity.

So why should some snotmoron be allowed to
respond with something like:
" I dunno, but you just lost 5 point, and thanks for giving ME two points." ?!

I'm not saying all answers need to be scholarly, sensitive, etc. Sometimes a little humor is good medicine. But if you want to be funny, really be funny. Make someone laugh.
Most of what I'm talking about is neither funny, nor informative, nor even thought-provoking. Just plain wastes of time and space in someone's inbox.

Such people whould be punished, by paying 10 points-the exact opposite of a best answer.

Same for ignorant questions, or evil teasers. Myself, I'm gonna start reporting a LOT mor people for abuse. Enough is enough. Grow up, some of you, and try to use this forum for the value that it can have, to educate us in many ways.

How about punishment for thoughtless and ignorant questions? Shouldn't people be penalized for questions dealing with the obvious or sexual obscenities? What about spelling? That alone should be like a 5 point deduction…..not grammar, just spelling...Hey I’m all for deduction criterion….

I`ve been thinking the same thing.. also for spelling so badly, it practically hurts my eyes to read it. I mean, there IS a spell check feature. And one more thing, I think there should be an option ( for a question asker only ) to choose a WORST answer , as well as a best answer. not have to choose one , just have the option to. now that could get fun.
