I've been a Mets fan for 30 years. Through all the ups and downs. It's nice to see them finally get some well earned respect. DOWN WITH THE YANKEES!!!!

Tigers are a much bigger story. The Mets have a bunch of talent and had a huge off-season.
The Tigers are the same young team they had for the last two years except for the manager Leyland. People predicted the Mets to be a top the NL East. The Tigers were suppose to vie for last in the AL with Tampa Bay and KC.

They are the best story of this year so far, tied with the Tigers, I guess.
Everyone wants to see down and out franchises make a comeback. The Mets will be a popular darkhorse contender.
Certainly, I'll be hoping to see something good!
