I have 2 roommates and one day I brought one of my friends over. My friend likes to brag alot and he was telling one of my roommates that he served time in prison for killing someone which is a lie. My roommate didn't say nothing and ignored my friend. So the next day my friend goes over to the apartment and knocks and I wasn't home but my roommate was and he refused to let my friend in. So my friend opened up the door and walked in right and my roommate told him to get out. My friend smarts off and raised his hand to my roommate like he was going to hit him. So my roommate hit him in the jaw and threw him out of the apartment. Now my friend is mad at me and I think my roommate was wrong to hit my friend. Should my roommate apologize to my friend? When I told the other roommate about it, he started laughing about it and he called my friend a wooz.

No, your friend owes your roommate an apology. Your friend should have made arrangements to visit when you were home, unless prior arrangements were worked out with your roommate. Your roommate was under no obligation to *host* your friend, and it was wrong for your friend to muscle his way into your apartment even after your roommate initially refused him entry. To be honest, I'm surprised your roommate didn't call the police. In any case, your friend was wrong.

What's the matter with your friend walking in someone else's place without being invited and then smarting off and raising his hands to someone? Your roommate does not owe your friend an apology, your friend is the one that needs to apologize. Sorry, but your friend gave your other roommate good cause to laugh about this.

I can see the other way. Your friend is your friend and not your roomate's friend. Your friend shouldn't force to go to the apartment when you are not there. It's against the law that without a permission, people can't get into a person's a apartment.Your rommate mad at you because you bring a trouble friend over.

I think you should take your friend and your roomate out for a beer and let them know each other and understand each other. When they understand each other, and things will be cool off.
