No you should not ask the mother to pay anything. She is your husbands child and she was on your watch. It was an accident, don't be too mad at the child. I understand $500 is alot of money, but really the mom had nothing to do with it.

I think its to adult watch the children at the time that are responsible for the damage the adult in charge any person under age 18 is coincided a minor ,and its the the person that was wathcing ,but in your case it will have some weight on the other or actual mother as well not real sure well if you go to small claims court its up to $ 5,000.00 dollars if they don't pay you can file a claim and let a judge sort it out good luck,

The mother will probably refuse to pay, since you and your husband were in charge of her at the time.
This can be a good time for her to start learning consequences to her actions. How about making her do some extra chores to "pay off" the part of the debt?

Then i guess you gained't coach them your faith - evolution and atheism both? or possibly you're not any more fairly unbiased? What philosophy or faith underaged little ones are taught is the prerogative of oldsters. that's real for atheists and for theists alike. it is going to nevertheless be real even even if it really is finished in secret through both section because of a few u . s .'s political tyranny. except, you only like the Nazis bodily bumped off little ones from father and mom with dissenting perspectives and compelled the state approved propaganda down the throats of those Hitler Jugend. i assume what you're providing will be seen as a comrade to the techniques of the Nazis? Congratulations -- tremendous progression!

I'm not sure of your question. However, I don't think you should ask her mother. It was your car and assuming it was at your house. If your car was at HER house, then yes perhaps you may want to talk to her.
I say that you make your daughter work off the damage. Do chores, babysit, return bottles/cans, either way she needs to learn a lesson.

No, you should not ask for any money from the mother. The children were in the care of their father and you, which makes both of you responsible for the damage.

you would have to take here to small calames court to get the money, and more then likley they would deny you because the child was under your cair not the mothers so it is your fault in the courts eyes. you can ask her for the mone but you more then likley will not get anything from her

Nope.....you were the acting guardian when it happened. She wasn't willfully tresspassing she was welcomed, so you have no business asking her biological mother for money for YOUR repair. I guess it pays to pay attention.

No right to ask her mother to pay for it. YOU are the ones who were not properly supervising her.
