Your husband friend is your friend, what his problem is yours,, you have to support him no matter how hard for you to see him trying to be compassionate with this lady who's husband has just passed away. Try to spend time with him together even he is at the funeral,, Nothing would be change until you don't go there and be a part of this and let things be done.. don't feel strangers to them they would respect you because your husband has been good support to them in this time of loss..
when he ask you to go and stay home, that is the time you feel not appreciated and the time to complain about things..
hope you feel better.... god bless ..

My bf, is gone 12 - 15 hours a day too.
It's good that you have friends, I just stay home a lot.
I kinda like alone time, but sometimes I go athe whole day without seeing anyone, except my bf and he always goes to sleep after a few hours. ( I think I spend a little to much time alone )
Are you allowed to tag a long with him?
Not everyday, but like 2 or 3 times a month.

Your husbands heart may be in the right place, but his first priority should be his own family. Maybe you should go with him to help this family or make friends with this woman. This might give him more freedom to spend with you. I would definitely be involved in this in some way. If he does not want you to, then that's a whole nuther ballgame isn't it?

I believe that if you pray things will definitely get better. In the mean time have you tried to meet some new people? Curl up with a good book? Pamper yourself? I know how it feels to be bored and depressed, but if you get too lonely you can contact me at :missrelovely8204@yahoo.com.

Ask yourself the FAB-49 question -- would he be spending so much time "caring" if the grieving party were a Fat And Bald 49-year-old guy? That's the true test. Freud invented it, I believe.
